Dr Kym is an equine veterinarian with several years’ experience working with thoroughbreds, competition and pleasure horses, across the UK, Ireland and Australia.

She has a particular interest in equine medicine and reproduction and is currently working towards an Advanced Certificate in Stud Medicine (CertAVP) with the University of Liverpool. Dr Kym also provides veterinary attendance at both gallop and trot meetings throughout Western Australia.

Prior to establishing KH Equine Services, Dr Kym worked in a range of busy equine practices, gaining broad experience in both first opinion and hospital settings before undertaking several stud seasons alternating between the Northern and Southern hemispheres. This has provided her with a practical and well-rounded approach to the management of horses at stud, in training as well as general equine practice.
